Signing of the Grant Contract between Embassy of Japan and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) under the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects

The Government of Japan decided to extend its grant aid to the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) under the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects Scheme.
 
The grant contract between the Embassy of Japan and IIUM was signed on 18 March 2019 at IIUM.
 
Summary of the Project
The project for introduction of facilities for online learning of Japanese language
(1)    Recipient: International Islamic University Malaysia
(2)    Grant amount: USD 26,784 (RM 107,698.46)
(3)    Project Details
Under this project, IIUM will utilize the grant to purchase Japanese language learning material, sound systems and improve electric infrastructures. The project aims to increase the learners’ chance of interacting with Japanese language and culture, through online platforms, leading to improved learning outcomes.
