Handover Ceremony of the Equipment to Support the Activities of ASEAN Observer Teams

On 8th April, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the handover ceremony of the equipment to support the activities of ASEAN Observer Teams (AOT) held at the Ministry of Defense.
Under the OSA (Official Security Assistance) FY2025 Project, the provision of equipment to support the activities of AOT in the Cambodia-Thailand border areas was agreed, in addition to a diving support vessel. At the handover ceremony, radio transceivers, LCD displays, computers, printers, and other equipment for the activities of the AOT at their operational bases were handed over to Malaysian Armed Forces. Japan will continue to contribute to regional peace and stability through OSA.
