On 8th of May, Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy call on Y.B. Senator Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia.
They exchanged views on bilateral cooperation including the fields of the immigration policy of Malaysia, the protection of Japanese citizens in Malaysia and the maritime law enforcement. They also confirmed that they would promote cooperation to further strengthen the relationship between Japan and Malaysia.
