Ambassador Oka paid a Courtesy call on the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture

On 7 July, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Y.B. Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy binti Shukri. They exchanged views on current and possible future efforts to promote the tourism and cultural exchange between Japan and Malaysia as well as countermeasures against COVID-19. In the discussion, the minister expressed her appreciation for Japan’s cooperation on capacity building including by JICA through which many Malaysia’s public officials learned at universities or training programs in Japan.
