Ambassador Takahashi attended a symposium “A Celebration of 40 Years of Malaysia’s Look East Policy”

On 8 February, Ambassador Takahashi attended a symposium titled “A Celebration of 40 Years of Malaysia’s Look East Policy” hosted by Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), National University of Malaysia (UKM).
In his keynote address, Ambassador Takahashi, while highlighting the outcomes of the Look East Policy in the past 40 years, stated that Japan is willing to cooperate with Malaysia in evolving the Policy to keep it relevant to the changing issues that Malaysia faces.
In the symposium, Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad Minister of Higher Education, made remarks, followed by a panel discussion joined by Look East Policy alumni and Japanese panelists.
