Ambassador Oka‘s visit to Media Prima Berhad

On October 28, Ambassador Oka Hiroshi paid a courtesy call on the Group Chairman of Media Prima Berhad, Datuk Seri Dr. Syed Hussian Aljunid at Sri Pentas. During the press conference, Ambassador Oka mentioned about the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy (LEP) to be celebrated next year. He stated that Japan and Malaysia have achieved significant results, particularly in the important fields of economy and education through the implementation of LEP, and on this occasion of the anniversary, reflecting on the achievement, both countries will further enhance the cordial relationship between Japan and Malaysia. In response, Group Chairman Datuk Seri Dr. Syed Hussian also stated that for the next year’s anniversary, Media Prima Berhad would like to cooperate to make the policy known to more Malaysians.

Ambassador Oka was given a tour to see the behind-the-scene services and operations at Media Prima subsidiaries and deepened the understanding of the diverse media platforms of Media Prima Berhad.
