The Subang MRO Logistics Complex Project Groundbreaking Ceremony

On 9 July , Mr. NIHEI Daisuke, Minister and Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Subang MRO Logistics Complex in Selangor, a joint venture between Mitsui Fudosan and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB). The ceremony was also attended by YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia. The facility will be built within the Subang Aerotech Park adjacent to Subang Airport and is planned to be leased to companies in the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector as well as logistics operators.
In his congratulatory address, Mr. NIHEI expressed his hope that the facility would contribute to the development of the MRO industry and further strengthen the economic relationship between Japan and Malaysia.
