Ambassador Oka’s attendance at the ceremony for Tan Sri Azman Hashim’s donation to a Japanese city

On 6th August, Ambassador Oka attended online with Tan Sri Azman Hashim, Chairman of AmBank at the ceremony to conclude an agreement on the Tan Sri’s donation of a Japanese garden, “Miyakubo Hashim （橋夢） Park” to Imabari City, Ehime. In Japan, Mr Kan, Mayor of Imabari City attended.
Tan Sri’s grandmother is a Japanese from Imabari. In this relation, Tan Sri decided to build and donate the garden in his grandmother's hometown.
Ambassador Oka stated in his remarks that many Japanese and Malaysians will visit the park, promoting friendship, and exchange for further deepened ties between people in the two countries.
