On 7 November, Ambassador Shikata received a courtesy call from Miss Allyson Ee, Miss International Malaysia 2025, and her delegation at the Ambassador’s residence.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shikata and Miss Ee exchanged views on further promoting bilateral exchanges between Japan and Malaysia, ahead of next year’s Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between Japan and Malaysia in 2027. With her professional background as a chemical engineer, Miss Ee also highlighted the significance of environmental sustainability and social contribution in Malaysia.
Miss Ee is scheduled to represent Malaysia in the 63rd Miss International Beauty Pageant 2025, which will be held on 27 November at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
