From MAHA 2026 to GREEN×EXPO 2027

The Embassy of Japan was pleased to be part of MAHA 2026, one of Malaysia’s largest events showcasing agriculture and the agri-food sector.

On 6 September, the last day of MAHA, Ambassador Shikata Noriyuki had the honour of welcoming Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu to the Japan Pavilion. We were delighted to introduce Japan’s high-quality food products and innovative agricultural technologies, as well as GREEN×EXPO 2027, which will be held in Yokohama, Japan next year.

Through our participation in MAHA 2026, we were pleased to share Japan’s efforts and explore further opportunities for cooperation between Japan and Malaysia in agriculture, food and sustainability.

From MAHA 2026 in Malaysia to GREEN×EXPO 2027 in Yokohama, Japan, we look forward to continuing this momentum toward a more sustainable future.
