Courtesy call by Ambassador Oka on MMEA Director-General Maritime Admiral Datuk Mohd Zubil Mat Som

On 11th January, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Director-General, Maritime Admiral Datuk Mohd Zubil Mat Som.
During the courtesy call, Ambassador Oka expressed his sincere appreciation for MMEA’s daily activities which include Patrolling and Search & Rescue to ensure the security and safety on the sea.
Furthermore, both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of maritime law enforcement. Datuk Mohd Zubil praised the efforts by Mr. Inaba, an expert dispatched to MMEA from the Japan Coast Guard in the cooperation program with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
