JMSDF ships JS HARUSAME and the Royal Malaysian Navy conducted the third bilateral exercise “MALPAN” this year

Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) ship JS HARUSAME and the Royal Malaysian Navy conducted athe bilateral exercise “MALPAN” in the South China Sea. This was the third “MALPAN” this year and aimed to strengthen cooperation with RMN through more tactical exercises. Japan will continue to cooperate with Malaysia to contribute to maritime security in the region under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Japan and Malaysia.
