Ms. NAGAOKA Keiko, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, visited Malaysia

Ms. NAGAOKA Keiko, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, visited Malaysia from 23 to 25 June.
 
During her visit, Minister Nagaoka had a bilateral meeting with YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Higher Education. Both Ministers agreed on further promoting the bilateral cooperation on the establishment of a branch campus of the University of Tsukuba in Malaysia, people-to-people exchanges and other areas of mutual interest.
 
Aside from the bilateral meeting, Minister Nagaoka visited Ambang Asuhan Jepun (AAJ: Special Preparatory Program to enter Japanese universities) at Universiti Malaya, Nippon Designers School Malaysia College and Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT). She also met representatives of alumni associations for Malaysians who studied in Japan, as well as representatives of Japan-related educational institutions in Malaysia to exchange views respectively. Minister Nagaoka also visited the Japanese Cemetery of Kuala Lumpur.
