Prize Presentation Ceremony for The 17th World Children’s Haiku Contest 2021-2022 Malaysia Chapter

JAL Foundation hosted the 17th World Children’s Haiku Contest 2021-2022, and its Prize Presentation Ceremony for the Malaysia Chapter was co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan and Japan Airlines Kuala Lumpur on 8 December. The ceremony was one of the events to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy.
In his congratulatory remarks, Ambassador Takahashi expressed his hope that the young winners’ interest towards Japan would increase by winning the contest this time. Ambassador also mentioned as their future option that Malaysians can receive higher education in Japan through Malaysia’s Look East Policy or Japanese Government Scholarship.
