Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays for Dr. Zoraida Binti Mustafa, Associate Professor, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia

On 7th December, the Embassy of Japan hosted a conferment ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays for Dr. Zoraida Binti Mustafa, Associate Professor, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia.
Dr. Zoraida has contributed to promoting Japanese language education in Malaysia and mutual understanding between Japan and Malaysia. She founded the Malaysia Japanese Language Instructors Society (MAJLIS) and has served as its President. In addition, she taught Japanese language to a number of students at AAJ (special preparatory program to enter Japanese universities), Universiti Malaya and sent them to Japan.
This award honors her remarkable contributions to strengthening relations between Japan and Malaysia.
