Official Visit to Johor by Ambassador Takahashi

From 5 to 6 October, Ambassador Takahashi made an official visit to Johor and had an audience with His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor, as well as paid a courtesy call on Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Dato’ Ghazi, Chief Minister of Johor.
 
At the meeting, Ambassador Takahashi reaffirmed the long-standing friendship between Japan and Johor even before the independence of Malaysia. They also discussed economic ties between Japan and Johor, in sectors such as manufacturing industry as well as the digital and creative industry.
 
During his visit, Ambassador Takahashi exchanged views with Dato’ Idzham Mohd Hashim, CEO of Inslandar Investment Bhd. He also visited Deluxe Games Sdn. Bhd., a branch of a Japanese mobile game developer based in Johor.
 
Ambassador Takahashi also met with The Japan Club of Johor and Japanese School and expressed his gratitude for their proactive activities as the bridges between Japan and Johor.
