On the 4th of February, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on Thomas Albrecht, Representative, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representation in Malaysia.
Ambassador Oka explained the expansion of the third country resettlement programme which Japan has been implementing in Malaysia and expressed gratitude for the continuous support by UNHCR for the programme. They exchanged views on further promotion of bilateral cooperation between Japan and UNHCR.
