On 8th May, Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy call on YB Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Human Resources.
Both parties exchanged views on measures to enhance cooperation on labour issues related to Japanese companies such as TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) agreed by Prime Ministers of both countries last December. They also agreed to strengthen cooperation between Japan and Malaysia by sharing expertise with each other to solve various labour issues.
