Courtesy call on Y.B. Dato’Seri Mahdzir bin Khalid, Minister of Rural Development

On 9^th November, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on Y.B. Dato’Seri Mahdzir bin Khalid, Minister of Rural Development. At the meeting, Ambassador Oka expressed his gratitude to the MARA, an affiliate of the Ministry, for its continued contribution to sending Look Policy students to Japan. They also exchanged their views to strengthen Japan Malaysia cooperation for rural development in various sectors such as early childhood education, agriculture and digitalization. They agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia towards the 40^th anniversary of the Look East Policy in 2022.
