JENESYS 2017 (Japan’s Friendship Ties Program*) – Outbound Program for Japanese university students to Malaysia

As part of JENESYS 2017, 19 Japanese university students visited Malaysia from 6 to 13 March, 2018. On 7 March, they paid courtesy visits to the Embassy of Japan, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and JICA Malaysia Office. School exchange programmes with International Islamic University of Malaysia and University of Malaya were arranged during their stay. The student delegate gave a presentation on their outcome and action plan at the reporting session on 13 March, where Ms Kurihara, Director of Japan Information Service, attended from the Embassy of Japan and made a speech and some comments. The participants of JENESYS 2017 are hoped to implement their action plan, continuously disseminate information about Japan and contribute to the further friendship and exchanges between Japan and Malaysia.
