Exchange of views between Ambassador Oka and Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on Public Health

On 12 April, Ambassador Oka invited Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on Public Health, to his residence to exchange views on Malaysia's response to COVID-19 and public health measures in the ASEAN region, including the ASEAN Centre for Infectious Disease Control.
During the meeting, Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood thanked for the support provided by Japan to Malaysia for fighting COVID-19 and both agreed to continue to cooperate in public health measures between both countries.
