On June 15, Ambassador Oka made a courtesy call on Y.B. Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin, Minister of Science Technology and Innovation.
At the meeting, Ambassador Oka expressed his respect for the various measures to contain COVID-19 by the government of Malaysia and explained the contribution responding to COVID-19 of Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT).
Based on the excellent track record of wide-ranging cooperation between Japan and Malaysia in the science and technology field, both parties agreed to continue to contribute to further enhance cooperation in the field such as digital field.
