On 11th June, the opening ceremony of “Asian Master Series 03: Yoshisuke Funasaka Solo Exhibition: Intipati” was held at the Museum of Asian Art, Universiti Malaya. This exhibition celebrates the work of renowned Japanese printmaker Funasaka Yoshisuke, whose unique style blends traditional woodblock and silkscreen techniques.
Curated by Malaysian print artist Mr. Juhari Said, who once studied under Mr. Funasaka in Japan, this exhibition also reflects over three decades of cross-cultural friendship and creative exchange between Japan and Malaysia.
