Courtesy call on Ambassador Takahashi by the UNICEF Representative to Malaysia

On 15 December, Ambassador Takahashi received a courtesy call from Dr. Sarwar, the UNICEF Representative to Malaysia, on UNICEF's activities in Malaysia and the collaboration between UNICEF and the Embassy.
During the meeting, Dr. Sarwar expressed his gratitude for the various support from Japan to UNICEF, including the support for the establishment of a cold chain for vaccination in Malaysia. Both parties also exchanged views on various issues in Malaysia, such as the situation of COVID-19, nutrition, mental health and climate change. They agreed to continue working together for the benefit of children in Malaysia from various perspectives.
