Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) ships JS BUNGO, JS ETAZIMA, and the Royal Malaysian Navy conducted the bilateral exercise “MALPAN” in Port Klang and the Straits of Malacca. This is the second bilateral exercise “MALPAN” in 2025, including a diving exercise.
Japan will continue to cooperate with Malaysia to contribute to maritime security in the region under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Japan and Malaysia.
