On Novemeber 5, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy visit on Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail, President of the Academy of Sciences.
At the meeting, Ambassador Oka expressed his appreciation for close cooperation with Japanese universities and research institutions. In addition, both parties agreed to continue to work closely towards the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy in cooperation with Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Alumni Association Malaysia, which is chaired by Professor Datuk Dr. Asma.
