The Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette on Dato Zulkifli Abdul Malek, Former President of ALEPS

On January 16, the Conferment Ceremony of 2018 Spring Imperial Decorations for foreign recipients was held at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence. Dato Zulkifli Abdul Malek received the Imperial decoration “Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette”.
Dato Zulkifli Abdul Malek who was the President of Alumni Look East Policy Society (ALEPS) from 1994 to 2002, played an important role to develop networks between ALEPS and Japan related organisations and companies, and contributed towards establishing Pusat Bahasa Teikyo (PBT), an affiliated school of Japanese educational institute. Dato Zulkifli was also made a remarkable contribution to promote cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between Japan and Malaysia.
