On January 16, Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy visit on Y.B. Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.
At the meeting, Ambassador Takahashi expressed his appreciation for the close cooperation between Japan and Malaysia in the fields of science, technology and innovation. In addition, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia by promoting joint research and collaboration with industries by seizing the opportunity of the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy last year and the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation this year.
