On the 17th of February, Ambassador Takahashi paid a call on Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Undersecretary of South and Central Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the current situation of Afghanistan and on the efforts taken by Japan and Malaysia. Ambassador Takahashi commended significant contribution of humanitarian assistance by Malaysia in Afghanistan and they discussed possible cooperation to provide further assistance to the people in Afghanistan.
