Ambassador Shikata Attends Opening Ceremony of Sushiro Malaysia’s First Store

On 7 February, Ambassador Shikata attended the opening ceremony of Sushiro’s first store in Malaysia, located at Suria KLCC.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Shikata highlighted the growing popularity of "Washoku" (Japanese cuisine), which has been designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. He expressed his hope that “Malaysians of all backgrounds will enjoy Japanese-quality fresh and tasty sushi in Sushiro and deepen their appreciation for 'Washoku' even more.”
