Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on YB Lim Guan Eng, Secretary General of DAP

   On October 12, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy visit on YB Lim Guan Eng, Secretary General of DAP and exchanged views on the relations between Japan and Malaysia. Ambassador Oka expressed his appreciation to YB Lim Guan Eng for his support for the expansion of the bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia in wide range of fields such as economy and human capacity development including education. YB Lim Guan Eng conveyed his appreciation to the role played by Ambassador Oka in this regard and they agreed that Japan and Malaysia will continue to strengthen cooperation in order to provide further impetus to the bilateral relations in the light of the fact the next year, 2022, will mark the 40^th anniversary of the Look East Policy.
