Ambassador Shikata Attended the ALEPS Japanese Language Speech Contest

On 17th January, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the Japanese Language Speech Contest organized by ALEPS, The Alumni Look East Policy Society, and delivered the opening remarks.
In the remarks, Ambassador Shikata noted that the Look East Policy has served as a cornerstone of Japan–Malaysia friendship since the 1980s through sustained people-to-people exchange, and expressed hope that the contestants will inherit its spirit and grow into bridges between Japan and Malaysia. Ambassador Shikata also conveyed appreciation to the instructors from the four preparatory institutions (AAJ, PBT, KTJ, and UniKL JUP) for their dedicated guidance.
