On the 15th of April, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on Dato’Mohd Shafiq bin Abdullah, Secretary General of the Ministry of Health.
During the meeting, Dato’Mohd Shafiq told Ambassador Oka about the days he spent at Meiji University in Japan, and Ambassador Oka explained Japan’s assistance to Malaysia in the field of fight against COVID-19 and recent investment projects from Japan to Malaysia in the field of health. The two sides agreed on further bilateral cooperation in the field of health, including COVID-19 measures.
