Japan Self-Defense Forces Day Reception 2019 was held on 10th July 2019 at the Ambassador’s residence. The Embassy of Japan celebrated the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the Japan Self-Defense Forces with high ranking officials of the Ministry of Defence and the Malaysian Armed Forces, Ambassadors and Military Attaches of diplomatic corps and representatives of the Japanese community in Malaysia. YB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Minister of Finance, YB Senator Tuan Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Defense and General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj Affendi bin Buang, Chief of Air Force, blessed the occasion with their presences.
