Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on YB Datuk Darell Leiking, Minister of International Trade and Industry. Minister Darell will soon visit Japan, leading his trade and investment mission. There are about 1,400 Japanese companies are operating in Malaysia, and Japan is the No.1 investor in the manufacturing sector in Malaysia. Much more investment from Japan will be welcomed. They also discussed possible cooperation in Sabah State, Minister’s home state.
