The Reception to Celebrate the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan

On 15th February, the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia hosted a reception to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, with the attendance of Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj.
Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Haji Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Higher Education, attended as the Guest of Honor. The reception was also graced by Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Governor of Melaka, Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Johari bin Abdul, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and a number of Federal Ministers as well as distinguished guests.
At the reception venue, Japanese companies, a local government and an educational institution exhibited their products and services to introduce the charm of Japan. During the reception, the Embassy showed videos reflecting on the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy, promotion of tourism in Japan, Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, etc.
