Ambassador Shikata Attends the Opening Ceremony of Menicon’s New Plant

On 5th February, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the opening ceremony of Menicon’s new plant in Kedah. Menicon has newly opened its largest manufacturing facility at Klim Hi-Tech Park, in Kedah, to strengthen its production capacity for high-quality contact lenses using innovative technology, in response to the growing global demand for 1-DAY contact lenses.
In his congratulatory speech during the ceremony, Ambassador Shikata expressed his hope that this state-of-the-art plant would create good job opportunities, contribute to the development of human capital, and support the eye health of people in the local community and far beyond.
