Japan Day at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM)

The first “Japan Day” event at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) was held on 18 April, 2018, and Ms Kurihara, Director of Japan Information Service, and Mr Ishikawa attended. The objectives of UTeM’s Japan Day were to enhance its strategic relations with Japan and to further explore collaborative pursuits in research, academia and cultural exchanges under the Look East Policy. Various programmes including demonstrations of ikebana (flower arrangement) and kimono, Japanese speech contest participated by school students near UTeM, “Study in Japan” talk as well as exhibition of Japanese cars and research results presentations relating to Japanese technology were held during the event.
