Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays upon Mr. Mohamad Sukhaimi Bin Ibrahim and Ms. Zaharah Binti Md Yasin, former local employees, Embassy of Japan in Switzerland

On 14th May, the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia hosted a conferment ceremony for Mr. Mohamad Sukhaimi Bin Ibrahim and Ms. Zaharah Binti Md Yasin, former local employees of the Embassy of Japan in Switzerland, who received The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays, as 2025 Autumn Conferment of Decorations for foreign recipients.
Mr. Mohamad Sukhaimi Bin Ibrahim served as a driver for the Embassy of Japan in Switzerland for 30 years from 1994 to 2024 and Ms. Zaharah Binti Md Yasin served as a domestic worker at the Residence of Ambassador of Japan in Switzerland for 33 years and 8 months from 1990 to 2024. The two recipients dedicatedly supported the diplomatic activities of the Embassy and made significant contributions to its smooth operation.
At the ceremony attended by the families of both recipients, Ambassador Shikata presented the decorations and medals. In their acceptance speeches, both recipients expressed their gratitude for the honor.
