The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, JS “SAZANAMI” Port visit to Kota Kinabalu

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force’s Deployed Maritime Unit, Destroyer JS “SAZANAMI” called at Kota Kinabalu on Wednesday, 15th January. During her port visit, Commanding Officer of JS SAZANAMI paid a courtesy call on Commander Eastern Fleet, Royal Malaysian Navy. RMN personnel and Japanese School students in Kota Kinabalu enjoyed a ship tour of JS SAZANAMI. In addition, Ship crew and Commanding Officer visited and cleaned the Japanese cemetery. This port visit has enhanced the friendship between Japan and Malaysia.
