“Cultural Exchange with Japanese Traditional Martial Arts Demonstration and Workshop in Malaysia” hosted by Nippon Sports Science University

On 11 February, Nippon Sports Science University (NSSU) hosted “Cultural Exchange with Japanese Traditional Martial Arts Demonstration and Workshop in Malaysia” at Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara. Japanese martial arts and traditional performances were demonstrated by 90 third-year students at NSSU.
NSSU has been offering this annual event since 2002 in Australia, Germany, Singapore and Hawaii. This time, the event was held for the first time in three years in the post pandemic era, and for the very first time here in Malaysia.
In his speech, Ambassador Takahashi thanked NSSU for hosting the event, as one of the most important elements in maintaining good bilateral relations is interaction between peoples of different cultures. To the Malaysian audiences at the stadium, Ambassador Takahashi wished them to enjoy this special opportunity, where the essence of Japanese martial arts and traditional performances are showcased
