On 20th January, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Japan - Malaysia Teenage Ambassadors Malaysia Program.
This program, organized by the AEON 1% Club Foundation, is an international exchange initiative that aims to deepen mutual understanding and friendship between high school students from Japan and Malaysia through cultural and historical experiences, and courtesy calls.
During the event, Ambassador Shikata expressed his appreciation to the AEON 1% Club for organizing this program, which fosters friendly relations between Japan and Malaysia. He also encouraged the participating student to cherish this valuable opportunity and to actively engage in exchanges.
The event also featured a presentation by an Embassy officer on Japan–Malaysia relations, as well as student interactions and cultural performances. Through these activities, the students further deepened their mutual understanding of both countries.
