Japanese Cultural Event by the Ikebana International Kuala Lumpur Chapter 72

On 19th March, 2018, Japanese cultural event for Ikebana lovers by the Ikebana International (I.I.) Kuala Lumpur Chapter 72 was held at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence.
Some members of the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur (JCKL) demonstrated Ikebana, followed by poetry recital (shigin), sword dance (kenbu) and paper fan dance (senbu) performed by Mr. Syufu, the 6th generation Grand Master of Kyoto Shinshin-ryu Shodokan, and his group of performers, from Japan.
Participating guests enjoyed the traditional Japanese art.
