Ambassador OKA delivered a Lecture at National Resilience College (NRC)

On 20^th April, Ambassador OKA delivered a lecture regarding Japanese perspective on security issues for 21 course participants (Brigadier General and First Admiral class)　selected from 3 services at NRC, Malaysian Armed Forces. In the lecture, Ambassador OKA explained overview of “Proactive Contribution to Peace”, “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”, which are both promoted by Japan, and the bilateral defence cooperation between Japan and Malaysia. The lecture was a good opportunity for promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Malaysia with many questions raised by course participants. Ambassador OKA also had a meeting with MG Datuk Mohd Nizam bin Hj Jaffar, Commandant, NRC and exchanged opinions on strengthening Japan-Malaysia relations.
