Ambassador’s official visit to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

On 18th October, Ambassador OKA and his wife made an official visit to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor and had a meeting with professors including Prof. Dr. Zaidatun Tasir, Dean of Faculty of Science Social and Humanities and Prof. Madya Kumaraguru A/L Ramayah, who was conferred the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for FY2021 on his contribution to promoting Japanese language education at UTM in Johor.
At the meeting, they exchanged views on promoting Japanese language education in Malaysia as well as university to university exchanges between both countries and also concurred to strengthen cooperation between Japan and UTM.
