Ambassador’s visit to the state of Johor

On 18th October, Ambassador OKA made an official visit to Johor Bahru, the state of Johor and had a courtesy call on His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ismail.
Following the courtesy call, Ambassador Oka had discussion with YAB Datuk Ir. Haji Hasni bin Haji Mohammad, Chief Minister of Johor.
At the meeting, they discussed cooperation between Japan and the state of Johor such as the development of smart cities and the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy, which will take place next year.
They also agreed to continue working together to support Japanese companies in Johor and attract new investments from Japan.
