Award Ceremony of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2017 to four Japanese preparatory education institutes

On 24 April, 2018, the Award Ceremony of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2017 to four Japanese preparatory education institutes, Special Preparatory Program to enter the Japanese Universities, Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, University of Malaya (AAJ), Teikyo Malaysia Co. Ltd., Teikyo Language Institute (PBT), INTEC Education College, Look-East Policy Japan Programme (KTJ), and MARA Education Foundation, Malaysia-Japan Higher Education Programme (MJHEP), was held at the Ambassador’s residence. All the four institutes have contributed to Japanese language education in Malaysia, have promoted study in Japan under the Look East Policy and have greatly contributed to the mutual understanding through people-to-people exchanges as well as the foundation of the cordial bilateral relationship. The Foreign Minister’s Commendations were awarded to honour their achievements on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Malaysia.
