JASDF C-2 visit KLIA and Subject Matter Expert Exchange with RMAF

On 18th of November 2021, Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) transport aircraft C-2 visited Kuala Lumpur International Airport and conducted Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) with Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). During the SMEE, a ceremony was held to exchange gifts, followed by C-2 aircraft tour. Through these programs, JASDF and RMAF were able to connect and deepen the mutual understanding and enhance bilateral cooperation between Japan and Malaysia.
As for the exchange between Japan Self-Defense Forces and Malaysian Armed Forces, it was the first exchange in 7 months since the exchange between the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force "Akebono" and the Royal Malaysian Navy in April, due to the impact of COVID-19.
