NACSA-MIC Webinar for ASEAN “Cybersecurity in the New Normal”

On 25th March, Ambassador OKA joined the NACSA-MIC Webinar for ASEAN “Cybersecurity in the New Normal”, co-organized by the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) of Malaysia and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan.
Ambassador OKA delivered the closing remarks and emphasized the importance of working together with the public and private sectors of like-minded countries, including Malaysia and Japan, to enhance our cybersecurity in the new normal, and accelerate the rise of the digital economy.
YBrs. Ir. Md. Shah Nuri bin Md. Zain, Chief Executive of NACSA, and Mr. TAWARA Yasuo, Director-General for Cybersecurity of MIC, also joined the webinar together with hundreds of participants from ASEAN nations, including those from the Malaysian government, industries and universities.
At the webinar, Malaysian and Japanese experts conducted lectures on the latest cyber threats and the latest countermeasure technologies with lively Q&A sessions.
