42nd Bon Odori 2018

On July 21st, the 42nd Bon Odori 2018 was held at Kompleks Sukan Negara in Shah Alam, co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan, the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur and the Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur. Y.A.B. Tuan Amirudin Bin Shari, Chief Minister of Selangor, attended as the guest of honour. Chief Minister of Selengor danced on the centre stage with his family, Ambassador Miyagawa and other guests. About 35,000 people joined the Bon Odori, enjoyed Japanese drum and various dance performances as well as participated in the Bon Odori dances.
